Send a link and you each play the same five events, whenever suits you. Same scenes, same clock, one winner.

    You both get the same five events and the same 60-second clock, each on your own iPhone. Nobody waits for a turn.

    Both guesses sit side by side after each event, and you get a notification the moment your friend finishes.

Is Where & When like GeoGuessr?
Yes. Where & When uses the same guess-the-location gameplay as GeoGuessr, but instead of Street View it shows an AI-generated scene of a real historical event, and you guess the year it happened as well as the place.
Is there a GeoGuessr alternative for history lovers?
Where & When is built specifically as a history-focused alternative to GeoGuessr. Every round is a scene from a real event, from ancient Rome to the 21st century, so you're guessing both where and when, not just where.
Are the images real photographs?
No. Each image is an AI-generated scene of a real historical event, which lets the game show moments no camera ever recorded, from ancient Rome to the Middle Ages. After every guess you see the event's real name, place, year and story.
Can I play Where & When with a friend?
Yes. In Tournament you send a friend a link or a six-character code, and you each play the same five events on your own iPhone whenever you like. Both guesses appear side by side after each event, you're notified when your friend finishes, and the higher total wins.
Is Where & When free?
Yes, Where & When is free to download and play on iPhone.
Do I need to know a lot about history to play?
No. Where & When is designed for curious minds of any level — you'll pick up historical facts and context as you play, and your guessing gets sharper the more you play.
Is Where & When available on Android or the web?
